SUPERVISOR

Premier Aquatics is looking for ambitious, self-motivated infividuals to fill our Area Supervisor positions.

Personal Qualifications

  • Ability to ensure all staff perform duties as assigned, follow the Premier Guard Safety Code of Conduct, and enforce Universal Swimming Pool Rules.
  • Willingness to work between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM and be available for emergencies outside of these hours.
  • Strong customer service orientation; adherence to the “The customer is always right” policy.
  • Responsibility and reliability in leading, training, and managing teams.
  • Flexibility and quick decision-making in emergency staffing situations.
  • Strong communication skills for regular in-person meetings with clients and partners.
  • Must carry valid Lifeguarding/CPR/Pool Operator certifications at all times.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff performance and ensure compliance with safety codes and pool rules across all facilities.

  • Meet and train all staff and prepare pools by 5/25/2024.

  • Be on duty in assigned areas between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM; respond to emergencies as needed outside these hours.

  • Schedule and staff all shifts; manage emergency staffing issues.

  • Conduct in-person meetings with on-site contacts (property managers, leasing consultants, maintenance staff, board members) at least three times per week.

  • Complete and submit two written inspection reports per pool per week, signed by a property representative.

  • Maintain and present all required certifications (Lifeguarding/CPR/Pool Operator) while on duty.

What is the pay?

The starting pay is very competetive.

We offer annual raise based on experience and performance. 

Premier Aquatics manages pools in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.

Pool assignment is based on Lifeguard’s housing location.

You will have the opportunity to request a pool at the most convenient location for you.

Requests are not guaranteed.

Yes, we do offer advancement opportunities to those guards who return from year-to-year.

There are four levels of advancement:

  • First level: Guarding at a multiguard pool (required for 15 year olds)
  • Second level: Pool Manager at a single guard facility
  • Third level: Pool Manager at a multiguard facility 
  • Fourth level: Area Supervisor
Are there any incentives available?

Yes. We do have a number of incentives available to those employees who show initiative and remain loyal to the company.

We are happy to work with you to accommodate vacations or other personal plans. We ask that these plans be discussed at the beginning of the season, so we can plan accordingly.

We understand that people do get sick. We do ask that you let us know as early as possible when this happens. Call your supervisor so he or she can make arrangements. If you need a day off, let your supervisor know ahead of time. Schedules are made three weeks ahead of time. If you discover you need a day off after schedules are made, you must find your own substitute.
